The Federal Government Battery Rebate

The rebate should be $334.80 per kilowatt-hour of eligible battery capacity. eg. that equates to $4500 for a Tesla Powerwall.

The battery needs to be VPP (Virtual Power Plant) capable, but there’s not expected to be any requirement to join a VPP at this stage.

Owners of existing battery systems should still be eligible.

Professional, honest, friendly and great workmanship by all involved. We were guided and notified every step of the way by Hermina from start to finish of my parents' new solar installation to obtain the Solar Vic rebate, and were kept thoroughly informed of the job completion after lockdown.

Ken and his team were amazing, and definitely did a great job, even with solving a couple of issues experienced along the way which I had not known about if he had not pointed them out.

Solar put on Friday 19th September the whole process was an amazing 3 weeks From quote to completion with plenty of emails and phone calls always answered. Never flustered by my questions. Excellent and fast response rang another a local Electrician 2 wks ago said they call nothing rang week later to see whats happening still havent heard nothing n out even a call say busy etc (Very rude). Rang M.R Electrical these professional people got a response today and fixed my problem n more. Very professional !! Highly recommend!! Very satisfied customer will be using them again!
